Cal. Code Regs. tit. 23, § 3979.15 – Amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Santa Ana River Basin (Basin Plan) to Incorporate a Maximum Benefit Salt and Nutrient Management Plan for the Elsinore Groundwater Management Zone.

Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board Resolution R8-2021-0044 amended the Water Quality Control Plan for the Santa Ana River Basin (Basin Plan). The State Water Resources Control Board approved the amendment under Resolution No. 2022-0015 on May 10, 2022.

The amendment revises Table 4-1 of the Basin Plan to add maximum benefit total dissolved solids and nitrate objectives for the Elsinore Groundwater Management Zone (GMZ) and incorporates maximum benefit commitments for the Elsinore GMZ into Chapter 5, “Implementation,” of the Basin Plan.
