The Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Coast Region (Central Coast Water Board) adopted Resolution R3-2024-0003, Amendments to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Central Coastal Basin to Incorporate Applicable Provisions of Statewide Plans and Policies, on June 21, 2024. On April 15, 2025, The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) approved Resolution 2025-0011, Consideration of a proposed Resolution to amend the Water Quality Control Plan for the Central Coastal Basin to incorporate applicable provisions of statewide plans and policies.

The amendments to the Water Quality Control Plan for the Central Coastal Basin (Basin Plan) incorporate applicable provisions of statewide plans and policies adopted by the State Water Board, correct typographical errors, and comply with web accessibility requirements. The amendments improve and clarify the application and implementation of the Basin Plan.
