1. (a) Local agencies shall submit annual reports to the Department of Water Resources by January 31^st for the previous calendar year (January 1 to December 31). Local agencies shall report on implementation and enforcement and address the following:

   1. (1) State whether you are adopting a single agency MWELO or a regional agency alliance MWELO, and the date of adoption or anticipated date of adoption.
   2. (2) State the entity responsible for implementing the MWELO.
   3. (3) State if using a locally modified Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (WELO) or the MWELO. If using a locally modified WELO, describe how is it different than MWELO, is it at least as efficient as MWELO, and are there any exemptions specified?

   4. (4) Provide the total number of new construction projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(55), with construction initiated during the reporting period for:

      1. (A) multifamily residential landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(54);
      2. (B) single-family residential landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(76);
      3. (C) non-residential landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(56); and,
      4. (D) rehabilitated landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(73).

   5. (5) State the number and types of completed projects subject to the MWELO during the specified reporting period:

      1. (A) multifamily residential landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(54);
      2. (B) single-family residential landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(76);
      3. (C) non-residential landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(56); and,
      4. (D) rehabilitated landscape projects, as defined in Section 490.2(a)(73).
   6. (6) State the total landscape area (in square feet or acres) subject to the MWELO over the reporting period, if available.
   7. (7) Describe enforcement measures.

   8. (8) Describe actions taken to verify compliance:

      1. (A) Is a plan check performed; if so, by what entity?
      2. (B) Is a site inspection performed; if so, by what entity?
      3. (C) Is a post-installation audit required; if so, by whom?
   9. (9) Describe educational and other needs to properly apply the MWELO.
   10. (10) Explain challenges to implementing and enforcing the MWELO.
