1. (a) An OTNWS must use one of the pathogen control treatment trains prescribed in Table 60632-1 meeting the corresponding specification for each treatment process described in subsections (b) through (e) and must be capable of demonstrating the log reduction targets pursuant to section 60642.

2. (b) UV disinfection process must be tested and certified as meeting the specifications of NSF/ANSI 55-2024 Ultraviolet Microbiological Water Treatment Systems (February 2024), which is hereby incorporated by reference, for Class A UV disinfection systems with UV sensor and alarm set point. This requirement must be met under testing conducted by a product certification organization accredited for this purpose by ANSI. If UV reactors are installed in series, installation of such reactors must conform to the specifications provided by the UV reactor manufacturer.
3. (c) An MBR process must utilize hollow fiber or flat sheet membranes with pore sizes up to 0.4 micrometers operating in a submerged configuration.
4. (d) A chlorine disinfection process must provide a CT value specified for the respective pathogen control treatment trains through continuous process monitoring specified in section 60642.

5. (e) Membrane filtration process must use a microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, or reverse osmosis membrane so that the turbidity of the filtrate does not exceed any of the following:

   1. (1) 0.2 NTU more than 5 percent of the time within a 24-hour period; and
   2. (2) 0.5 NTU at any time.
