1. (a) Medical supplies are covered when prescribed by a licensed practitioner within the scope of his practice as defined by California laws.
2. (b) Common household items and articles of clothing are not covered.
3. (c) Medical supplies for chronic outpatient hemodialysis provided in renal dialysis centers and community hemodialysis units or for home dialysis are covered, but are payable only when included in the all inclusive facility rate set forth in Section 51509.2.
