1. (a) A prehearing conference in an adjudicatory or ratesetting proceeding shall be held between 45 and 60 days after the initiation of the proceeding or as soon as practicable after the Commission makes the assignment. The ruling setting the prehearing conference shall provide details for remote participation and may also set a date for filing and serving prehearing conference statements. Such statements may address the schedule, the issues to be considered, and any other matter specified in the ruling setting the prehearing conference.
2. (b) The assigned Commissioner has the discretion not to set a prehearing conference in a quasi-legislative proceeding.
3. (c) The assigned Commissioner shall notice a prehearing conference within 15 days of the initiation of a catastrophic wildfire proceeding and hold the prehearing conference within 25 days of the initiation of a catastrophic wildfire proceeding.
