1. (a) For purposes of Corporations Code section 17.1(e), “direct electronic . . . presentation of . . . documents” means any document submitted for filing through any of the Secretary of State's online portals.
2. (b) In addition to the definitions set forth in Corporations Code sections 17 and 17.1(a), the term “signature” also includes an electronic signature, as that term is defined in Civil Code 1633.2(h), for any direct electronic presentation of documents.
