1. (a) A proposed ballot designation submitted pursuant to Elections Code § 13107, subdivision (a)(2), is limited “incumbent,” as that term is defined in Elections Code § 13107, subdivision (a)(2).
2. (b) The term “incumbent” must be used as a noun. It shall not be used in conjunction with any other words, including any accompanying adjectives or modifiers, and must stand alone. A candidate qualified to use this designation pursuant to Elections Code § 13107, subdivision (a)(2), shall be entitled to use the ballot designation “Incumbent.”
3. (c) The word “incumbent” is strictly limited for use in ballot designations submitted pursuant to Elections Code § 13107, subdivision (a)(2), and may not be used as an adjective in any other ballot designation.

Proposed ballot designations submitted pursuant to Elections Code § 13107, subdivision (a)(2), shall be subject to the following provisions:
