1. (a) All contracts between a regional center and a SLS vendor for the delivery of SLS shall meet all the following applicable contracting regulatory requirements:

   1. (1) Requirements specified in Title 17, Section 50607;
   2. (2) Fiscal provisions specified in Title 17, Section 50609(a), (c), (d), and (e); and
   3. (3) Audit provisions specified in Title 17, Section 50610.
2. (b) In addition to the requirements specified in (a), all contracts between a regional center and a SLS vendor for the delivery of SLS shall meet all requirements specified in this section, and in Sections 58671 and 58672.

3. (c) A regional center shall not negotiate a contract with any SLS vendor who has:

   1. (1) Adopted a required service design that has not been approved by the regional center; or
   2. (2) Not signed the State Department of Health Care Services' Medi-Cal Provider Agreement.
4. (d) A regional center may, pursuant to Sections 58660 through 58662, contract with a SLS vendor for one or more of the SLS services referenced in Title 17, Section 54349, and specified as a SLS service component in Section 58614.
