Cal. Code Regs. tit. 17, § 30521 – Supervision Requirements.

(a) Certified technologists, nuclear medicine, special permit holders, and students of nuclear medicine technology shall be under:
1. (1) General supervision when performing nuclear medicine technology procedures.
2. (2) Direct supervision when performing oral administration of radioactive material to human beings for therapeutic purposes.
