1. (a) Clippers, and other electrical tools shall be disinfected prior to each use in the following sequential manner:

   1. (1) First removing all visible debris; and
   2. (2) Disinfect with an EPA-registered disinfectant spray or wipe with demonstrated bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal activity used according to manufacturer's instructions.
2. (b) All disinfected electrical tools shall be stored in a clean place.
3. (c) All soiled electrical tools used on a client, or soiled in any manner, shall be placed in a container labeled “Soiled”, “Dirty” or “Contaminated” (excluding hot styling tools).
