1. (a) In accordance with the provisions of Section 4846 of the Business and Professions Code, the Board recognizes veterinary colleges accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (“AVMA”).
2. (b) All other veterinary colleges must have academic standards equivalent to schools accredited by the AVMA in order to be recognized by the Board. Evaluation of the academic standards, veterinary courses and practices of these schools will be made after an application for a license has been received.
