1. (a) A certificate of approval shall be issued to each nursing program when it is initially approved by the board.

2. (b) The board shall revoke a nursing program's approval, and the program shall return the certificate of approval to the board under the following conditions:

   1. (1) The institution of higher education cannot grant degrees; or
   2. (2) The board determines that the nursing program is in non-compliance with the requirements set forth in this article or sections 2786 through 2788 of the code.
