1. (a) Obtained at an educational institution, or in an extension course offered by an institution which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the Northwest Association of Secondary and Higher Schools, or an essentially equivalent accrediting agency as determined by the Board or approved by the State Department of Education pursuant to section 94310.2 of the Education Code; or
2. (b) Obtained from a statewide professional association representing the professions of psychology, social work, or marriage, family and child counseling; or
3. (c) Obtained from or sponsored by a local county, state or federal governmental entity.
4. (d) Completed after January 1, 1983.

All persons applying for a license or renewal of a license as a psychologist shall in addition to all other requirements for licensure, have completed coursework or training in child abuse assessment and reporting and shall submit documentation thereof to the Board. The coursework or training in child abuse assessment and reporting shall consist of not less than 7 instructional hours and shall include training in each of the subject areas described in section 28 of the Code.
