1. (a) On and after January 1, 1992, all renewable licenses issued under Chapter 12 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code, shall expire annually on the last day of the month in which the license was originally issued, if not renewed.
2. (b) Any licensee who has renewed a license for the 1991 license year shall be required to renew that license for not less than seven (7) months nor more than eighteen (18) months based on its next expiration date under subsection (a). For the purpose of license renewal under this subsection, the applicable renewal fee shall be prorated on a monthly basis and one twelfth of the applicable fee shall be payable for each month or any portion of a month.
