Cal. Code Regs. tit. 15, § 8298
(b) Other incompatible activities that employees must not engage in include, but are not limited to, the following:
(c) Before engaging in outside employment, activity, or an endeavor that conceivably might be incompatible, inconsistent, or in conflict with their duties as a CALCTRA employee, the employee must submit a written statement to the Chief Counsel via the employee's supervisor. The statement must include the following:
(3) Sufficient detail for the Chief Counsel to determine whether the proposed activity will interfere with the employee's work tasks and responsibilities.
