1. (a) Pursuant to the provisions of the Postrelease Community Supervision Act of 2011, enacted in Penal Code section 3450, all incarcerated persons released from a CDCR facility on or after October 1, 2011, may be eligible for Postrelease Community Supervision (PRCS).
2. (b) Incarcerated persons released to PRCS are discharged from the department's custody and placed under the jurisdiction of a county agency.
