(a) Notices sent to CalRecycle by a manufacturer of a covered battery-embedded product, pursuant to Section 42466.2(b) of the Public Resources Code, shall be sent electronically to CalRecycle's designated electronic information submittal system available from CalRecycle's website pursuant to Section 18660.7.
- (1) Copies of these notices shall be provided to CalRecycle on or before August 1 annually.
- (2) If a notice provided does not specify the date and recipient(s), the manufacturer shall provide the date and recipient(s) of the notice through CalRecycle's designated electronic information submittal system.
- (b) The notices prepared pursuant to Section 42466.2 of the Public Resources Code, including copies provided to CalRecycle pursuant to Section 42466.2(b), shall not be treated as confidential or proprietary by CalRecycle. Any information considered by the manufacturer to be confidential, trade secret, or proprietary shall be provided separately from the copy of the notice, through CalRecycle's designated information submittal system, and must be identified pursuant to Section 17044 or 17045 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations.
