1. (a) A jurisdiction shall provide containers, for collection services, to generators that comply with the container color requirements specified in this article.
2. (b) Notwithstanding Subdivision (a), a jurisdiction is not required to replace functional containers, including containers purchased prior to January 1, 2022, that do not comply with the color requirements of this article prior to the end of the useful life of those containers, or prior to January 1, 2036, whichever comes first.
