1. (a) If paragraph (1) of subdivision (e) of section 42051.2 of the Public Resources Code requires a PRO to submit a proposed plan amendment to the advisory board, the advisory board shall have no more than 60 calendar days to review the amendment and provide comments to the PRO.
2. (b) The PRO shall include, with the proposed plan amendment submitted to the Department as required in paragraph (1) of subdivision (e) of section 42051.2 of the Public Resources Code, a summary of all comments received from the advisory board, and identify revisions, if any, made in response to the comments.
3. (c) The Department shall approve the proposed plan amendment if it contains all the elements required pursuant to the Act and meets all requirements of this chapter. In determining whether the proposed plan amendment contains all the elements required pursuant to the Act and meets all requirements of this chapter, the Department shall consider comments submitted to the PRO by the advisory board as summarized by the PRO pursuant to subdivision (b), as well as any revisions by the PRO in response to those comments. Approval does not alter the expiration date of the plan.
4. (d) The PRO shall post the amended plan on the PRO's internet website within five calendar days of approval by the Department.
