For questions about what type of permit will be required for a project, permit application requirements, or how the laws and policies administered by the Commission apply to a project, a pre-application meeting is available upon request with Commission staff.

A pre-application meeting is not required to apply for a permit, but it is recommended for large or complex projects and any project that will require a major permit.

For small or straightforward projects, staff may respond to questions by phone or email instead of holding a pre-application meeting.
