1. (a) Requests for action of the Supervisor pursuant to Sections 3642, 3646(b), 3649, 3650, or 3653 of the Public Resources Code shall be made by filing a petition as provided in this article.
2. (b) A petition shall be signed by the petitioner and filed, together with 5 copies, with the district deputy of the district in which the unit area is located.
