1. (a) An initial inspection of the area in which Timber Operations are to be conducted shall be made within 10 days from the date of filing of the Plan, or such longer period as may be mutually agreed upon by the Director and the Person submitting the Plan. The RPF who prepared the Plan shall attend the initial inspection.
2. (b) In the case of any Timber Operation proposed to be carried out in an area which serves as a watershed for any publicly owned water purveyor, the Director shall request a representative of such water purveyor to assist the Department as an advisor in the review process, pursuant to the provision of 14 CCR § 1037.5; such water purveyor representative shall be permitted to participate in all review team meetings.
