Cal. Code Regs. tit. 14, § 921.7
Watercourse and lakeside vegetation shall be protected and remain standing to the degree necessary to protect scenic and natural qualities and protect the Beneficial Uses of water. In addition to the requirements of 14 CCR §§ 916 through 916.9, Coastal Commission Special Treatment Area Watercourse and Lake Protection Zones adjacent to clearcuts or rehabilitation cutting shall be at least 150 feet on each side of Class I or II waters.
