Non-Qualifying Projects.

(a) Examples of non-qualifying projects include the following:
- (1) Purchase of capital equipment greater than $5,000 with a life expectancy beyond the term of the grant;
- (2) Installation, creation, upgrades, or maintenance of fire protection features, such as roads, bridges, or water storage facilities;
- (3) Grant requests greater than the maximum allowable distribution to the CAL FIRE Unit/Contract County the project is in;
- (4) Projects with administrative costs greater than 12% of the total grant request.
