The definitions contained in the California Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (Division 7, Part 2, Chapter 5 of the Health and Safety Code) shall apply to this chapter, as well as the following definitions.

“Certified Mediator” means an individual who has the training and experience that is required to serve on federal or California state court panels to receive referrals for court-ordered mediation.
