Where allowed, no person shall operate a boat or any type of watercraft in a unit at speeds in excess of the posted speed limit. A safe speed shall always be maintained so that the boat can stop at a safe distance and have time to maneuver from obstacles. Boat speed limits shall not exceed a speed safer than conditions allow or that is safe for other water users, or otherwise endanger people or property.
