1. (a) Upon a refusal by the department to issue or renew a Drivered Testing Permit, form OL 315 (Rev. 9/2024), which is hereby incorporated by reference, or a Driverless Testing Permit, form OL 315A (Rev. 10/2023), which is hereby incorporated by reference, or upon the suspension, revocation, or restriction of any permit by the department, the manufacturer shall be entitled to demand in writing a hearing before the director or his or her representative within 60 days after the notice of refusal.
2. (b) The hearing shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code.
