1. (a) A manufacturer shall only refer a driver participating in the ignition interlock program (a participant) to an authorized installer who meets the requirements in Sections 3363.1 through 3363.4 of Title 16 of the California Code of Regulations. The manufacturer shall also ensure that an authorized installer complies with the installation procedures established in Title 16 of the California Code of Regulations.
