(a) Ammunition vendors and gun show producers shall be notified of inspection findings on the notice of inspection findings. If violations are found, the Department shall include the following on the notice:
- (1) The statute or regulation violated.
- (2) A summary and description of the violation, stating the manner in which the ammunition vendor or gun show producer failed to comply with the law.
- (3) If applicable, action to be taken to correct a violation and compliance date to complete the corrective action. The compliance date shall be no more than 30 calendar days following the date of the inspection, unless the Department determines that the violation cannot reasonably be corrected in that time. When determining the compliance date, the Department shall consider the seriousness of the violation, including risk of public harm, and the reasonable time necessary for corrections.
