1. (a) The secondhand dealer or pawnbroker shall record and maintain the identification information of the intended seller or pledger, as specified in section 999.506(c)(1)(A)-(M), pursuant to Business and Professions Code section 21628, subdivision (e)(1).
2. (b) The person taking the information shall verify that the identification presented by the intended seller or pledger contains a photograph or physical description, or both.
