1. (a) Once issued by the ERDS Program, the ERDS Certificate of Approval shall remain in effect for a period of 3 years from the date of issuance unless one of the following occurs:

   1. (1) A letter of suspension is issued to the individual.
   2. (2) The individual withdraws their approval status as a Computer Security Auditor,
