1. (a) A licensee shall not disclose nonpublic personal medical record information about a consumer to affiliated or nonaffiliated third parties without the consumer's prior written authorization.
2. (b) This section does not prohibit or restrict the disclosure of nonpublic personal medical record information as permitted by California Insurance Code Section 791.13 or require an authorization for disclosure of nonpublic personal medical record information other than as required by California Insurance Code Section 791.13.
