Cal. Code Regs. tit. 10, § 1616 – Counseling or Advice: Prohibited by Finder.

(a) A finder shall not provide counseling or advice to a borrower or prospective borrower under Section 22372, subdivision (c) and (d), of the Financial Code.
(b) Counseling or advice means providing written or oral information to a borrower or prospective borrower that is specific to a loan or to the borrower's or prospective borrower's circumstances.
