1. (a) In this Part:

   1. (1) “Subject institution” means a foreign (other nation) bank which maintains one or more California state depositary agencies.
   2. (2) “Subject office” means any California state depositary agency of a subject institution.
2. (b) This Part contains regulations relating to the business and operations of subject offices of subject institutions. (For additional regulations relating to the business and operations of subject offices of subject institutions, refer to Part 4 (commencing with Section 10.14700) of this Subarticle.)
