1. (a) In this Part, “applicant” means a subject institution which applies to the Commissioner for authority to establish a branch office.
2. (b) This Part contains regulations relating to the establishment by an applicant of a branch office pursuant to Article 2 (commencing with Section 500), Chapter 4 of the Banking Law. This Subpart contains general provisions relating to the establishment by an applicant of a branch office. Subpart 2 (commencing with Section 10.6725) of this Part contains regulations relating to an application by an applicant for authority to establish a branch office. (Subparts 3 to 8, inclusive, of this Part are reserved.) Subpart 9 (commencing with Section 10.6925) of this Part contains regulations which set forth administrative standards and procedures relating to an application by an applicant for authority to establish a branch office. Subpart 10 (commencing with Section 10.6950) of this Part contains regulations relating to matters after an application by an applicant for authority to establish a branch office is approved by the Commissioner.
