In this article, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. 1. "Solar contractor" means a contractor, as defined in section 32-1101, who installs, alters or repairs solar devices.

2. 2. "Solar device" means a device for the use and application of solar energy incidental to:

   1. (a) Boilers, steamfitting and process piping.
   2. (b) Plumbing.
   3. (c) Air conditioning or comfort heating and cooling systems.
   4. (d) Hot water systems for residences and swimming pools.
   5. (e) Solar daylighting by a device as defined in section 44-1761.
