The following officers shall reside within the county:
- 1. Judge of the superior court.
- 2. Treasurer and ex officio tax collector.
- 3. Clerk of the board of supervisors.
- 4. Sheriff.
- 5. Assessor.
- 6. County attorney.
- 7. Recorder.
- 8. School superintendent.
- 9. Public defender.
