1. A. Case control measures: A local health agency shall:

   1. 1. Offer or arrange for treatment for each Mycoplasma genitalium infection case that seeks treatment from the local health agency;
   2. 2. Provide education to the Mycoplasma genitalium infection case about Mycoplasma genitalium that includes a description of Mycoplasma genitalium infection, symptoms, treatment options, measures to prevent transmission and re-infection, and the confidential nature of test results and services; and
   3. 3. Inform the Mycoplasma genitalium infection case about the importance of notifying sexual contacts and the options for notification.

2. B. Contact control measures: A local health agency shall:

   1. 1. Offer or arrange for treatment for any contact of a Mycoplasma genitalium infection case that seeks care at the local health agency; and
   2. 2. Provide education to a contact of a Mycoplasma genitalium infection case that includes a description of Mycoplasma genitalium infection, symptoms, treatment options, measures to prevent transmission and re-infection, and the confidential nature of test results and services.
