1. 1. “Inmate” means an individual who is incarcerated in a correctional facility.

2. 2. “Latent tuberculosis infection” means the presence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, as evidenced by a positive result from an approved test for tuberculosis, in an individual who:

   1. a. Has no symptoms of active tuberculosis,
   2. b. Has no clinical signs of tuberculosis other than the positive result from the approved test for tuberculosis, and
   3. c. Is not infectious to others.

3. 3. “Symptoms suggestive of tuberculosis” means any of the following that cannot be attributed to a disease or condition other than tuberculosis:

   1. a. A productive cough that has lasted for at least three weeks;
   2. b. Coughing up blood; or

   3. c. A combination of at least three of the following:

      1. i. Fever,
      2. ii. Chills,
      3. iii. Night sweats,
      4. iv. Fatigue,
      5. v. Chest pain, and
      6. vi. Weight loss.

In addition to the definitions in A.R.S. § 36-711, the following definitions apply in this Article, unless otherwise specified:
