1. A. Under A.R.S. § 32-2044(8), practicing as a physical therapist or working as a physical therapist assistant while mentally or physically impaired is grounds for disciplinary action.

2. B. The Board shall allow an impaired licensee to enter into a substance abuse recovery program rather than conduct a disciplinary proceeding if:

   1. 1. The impaired licensee is qualified under A.R.S. § 32-2050(2),
   2. 2. The Board believes the proposed program will assist the impaired licensee to recover, and
   3. 3. The impaired licensee enters into the written agreement required under A.R.S. § 32-2050(3) and (4).
