1. A. As required under A.R.S. § 32-2042, a licensed physical therapist shall use the designation “PT” immediately following the licensee’s name or signature to denote licensure. A licensed physical therapist shall not use the designations “RPT” or “LPT” in connection with the physical therapist’s name or place of business.
2. B. As required under A.R.S. § 32-2042, a physical therapist assistant shall use the designation “PTA” immediately following the physical therapist assistant’s name to denote licensure.
3. C. In addition to and immediately following the designation specified in subsection (A) or (B), as applicable, a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant may list academic degrees earned and professional specialty certifications held.
4. D. As required under A.R.S. § 32-2042, a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant who is on retired status shall use “(retired)” or “(ret.)” immediately after the designation required under subsection (A) or (C), as applicable.
