1. A. The farm shall not distribute dropped covered produce.

2. B. For purposes of this Section, “dropped covered produce” means covered produce that drops to the ground before harvest and does not include:

   1. 1. Root crops that grow underground, such as carrots;
   2. 2. Crops that grow on the ground, such as cantaloupe; or
   3. 3. Produce that is intentionally dropped to the ground as part of harvesting, such as almonds.
