1. A. This Article applies to public and semipublic swimming pools and spas.

2. B. This Article does not apply to the following:

   1. 1. A private residential swimming pool or spa,
   2. 2. A swimming pool or spa used for medical treatment or physical therapy and supervised by licensed medical personnel,
   3. 3. A semi-artificial bathing place,
   4. 4. A natural bathing place, or
   5. 5. An artificial lake.
