1. A. 40 CFR Part 141, Subpart S (40 CFR 141.400 through 141.405), is incorporated by reference as of the date specified in R18-4-102, subject to the modifications specified in this Section; this incorporation does not include any later amendments or editions.

2. B. 40 CFR 141.402(a)(4) is modified as follows:

   1. (i) In addition to the other requirements of this paragraph (a), a consecutive ground water system that has a total coliform-positive sample, collected under § 141.21(a) until March 31, 2016 or under §§ 141.854 through 141.857 beginning April 1, 2016, within 24 hours of being notified of the total coliform-positive sample must:

      1. (A) Notify the wholesale system(s) and,
      2. (B) Collect a sample from its consecutive connection with the wholesale ground water system and analyze it for a fecal indicator under paragraph (c) of this section.

   2. (ii) If the sample collected under paragraph (a)(4)(i)(B) of this section is fecal indicator-positive, within 24 hours:

      1. (A) The consecutive system must notify the wholesale ground water system, and
      2. (B) Both systems must consult with the Department on additional sampling to meet the requirements of paragraph (a)(3) of this section.
