1. 1. Exclude the day of the act triggering the period;
2. 2. If the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, extend the period to the end of the next business day;
3. 3. If the period is 10 days or less, count only the business days; and
4. 4. If service is by mail, extend the period by five days.
