1. A. The Department shall make records available upon request to the Board or its staff. The Department shall keep the records in a central location. The Department shall maintain:

   1. 1. All written documentation obtained or recorded under R13-4-202 and R13-4-203; and
   2. 2. A record of all advanced training, specialized training, continuing education, and firearms qualification conducted under R13-4-206.

2. B. The Department shall maintain the records required by this Section as follows:

   1. 1. For applicants investigated under R13-4-203 who are not appointed: two years; and
   2. 2. For applicants who are appointed: five years from the date of termination, except records retained under subsection (A)(2), shall be retained for three years.
