As used in this section and 9 CAR § 100-404:

1. (1) “Chronic” means constant, continuing, or long-term in nature;
2. (2) “Convalescent” means gradual recovery of strength, health, and wellness after illness or injury; and
3. (3) “Medical preventive” means measures taken for prevention of disease or possibly illness.
