(a)
- (1) All staff should participate in recruitment efforts.
(2) While the following is not a comprehensive list, staff will:
- (A) Actively seek out relatives and fictive kin as emergency placement options for every child entering foster care;
- (B) Actively coordinate with professional organizations and minority groups to create public interest;
- (C) Contact community organizations and media to inform them about Division of Children and Family Services needs and successes;
- (D) Encourage resource parents to:
(i) Make one-to-one contacts with other individuals who may be interested or have expressed interest in becoming a resource home; and
(ii) Schedule speaking engagements with community groups in order to share information about fostering; and
- (E) Conduct information meetings.
- (b) The Area Director or designee will conduct an annual assessment of current resource homes and identify the need for additional resource homes.
