9 CAR § 31-716 – Transportation

(a) The facility shall have agency-procured transportation available at all times.
(b) The facility vehicle or vehicles shall not be used for personal use unless other facility transportation is not available.
(c) Any vehicle used to transport children shall be:
1. (1) In safe working condition; and
2. (2) Maintained in compliance with motor vehicle laws.
(d) Any vehicle used to transport children shall be insured.
(e) Children shall be transported only by an authorized person possessing a valid driver’s license.
(f) Children shall be transported according to Arkansas law, including without limitation:
1. (1) Use of safety belts;
2. (2) Use of child safety seats; and
3. (3) Smoking restrictions.
